Andrea V. Gray, MD, PC
Dr. Andrea Gray is a board-certified eye M.D. offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and routine eye care, including glasses and contact lenses. Along with the most current medical knowledge and surgical techniques, Dr. Gray is a preferred provider for most insurances and vision plans. She offers laser treatments, multifocal lens implants, advanced diabetic eye care, oculoplastic surgery and is very experienced in minimally invasive no-stitch cataract surgery.

Roseburg is Dr. Gray's hometown. She completed a B.S. degree at Oregon State University, and then went on to earn her M.D. at Oregon Health Sciences University. Her internship in medicine/surgery was served at Legacy Hospitals in Portland. Dr. Gray then completed a 3-year residency to specialize in ophthalmology at UC Davis, where she served as chief resident. She has published numerous articles in ophthalmology journals, delivers lectures at continuing medical education meetings, and served on the editorial advisory board for EyeNet magazine for the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She has served for many years as an associate examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology and also writes examination questions.

Frank J. Garcia-Ferrer, MD
Dr. Francisco Garcia-Ferrer is a board-certified ophthalmologist (eye MD) and fellowship-trained corneal surgeon who specializes in medical and surgical treatments of the eye including advanced cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, pterygium surgery, laser vision correction, eye infections, and ocular surface tumors. Dr. Garcia-Ferrer also provides comprehensive ophthalmology services, including routine eye examinations.

Prior to joining Dr. Gray’s practice, Dr. Garcia-Ferrer served for 14 years as Chief of Ophthalmology at the VA Sacramento Medical Center with a joint appointment as Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine. Dr. Garcia-Ferrer ultimately served as Director of the Refractive Surgery Service at the UC Davis Eye Center.

Dr. Garcia-Ferrer attended Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Missouri, for his undergraduate education, graduating Summa Cum Laude. For medical school, he attended Washington University in St. Louis, where he also completed his residency training in ophthalmology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He completed a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at the UC Davis Eye Center.

Dr. Garcia-Ferrer is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) for which he serves on the Preferred Practice Pattern Committee for cornea and external disease. He also serves as a mentor examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Garcia-Ferrer has also lectured internationally as a member of the Pan-American Association of Ophthalmology (PAAO), and serves as volunteer faculty for ORBIS International.
